Soweto Gospel Choir performs at Radisson Resort Fiji Denarau Island

Radisson Resort Fiji Denarau Island guests got a musical treat from the world famous Soweto Gospel Choir performing at the resort. The resort hosted the choir and they provided a private & exclusive performance for the guests on Mother’s Day.

The resort staff were not to be left behind as they rendered “Isa Lei’ Fiji’s famous farewell song in Fijian to the 100 strong crowd to thank the Choir.

The Soweto Gospel Choir was formed to celebrate the unique and inspirational power of African Gospel music. The 26-strong choir, under the direction of David Mulovhedzi and Beverly Bryer, draws on the best talent from the many churches in and around Soweto. The choir is dedicated to sharing the joy of faith through music with audiences around the world. The choir has won a Grammy Award for Best Traditional World Music Album.

    it was one of the greatest tour that has happened in Fiji….if only they can come back to Fiji to perform it will really make the people of Fiji happy especially the youths of Fiji…

    Hi Baianto!

    The Choir will be coming back to Fiji during this Spring–the concert days haven’t been announced, but it should be happening May-July.
