The Soweto Gospel Choir are receiving rave news from across the secular and Christian media spectrum as they tour the country
And on the night of September 15 they arrive at the Princess Theatre immediately following appearances at the Royal Festival Hall in London.
This amazing choir – on their first British tour – have been receiving amaze critical reviews wherever they have appeared.
They were formed to celebrate the unique and inspirational power of African gospel music and the 26-strong choir draws on the best ‘talent’ from the churches in their home area.
The choir is dedicated to sharing the joy of faith through music with audiences across the world and one of the most uplifting nights ever is promised for the bay.
Following a recent appearance in Scotland the critic from a leading secular newspaper wrote: “You don’t have to be a believer to be inspired – an appreciation of great singing is all that’s required.
“The good news about this show is clearly spreading fast.”
And another – in awarding the performance a five star rating – declared: “There’s simply no flaw here, just singer after singer taking centre stage to showcase a different shade or tone.
“The singers wring meaning from every syllable, throwing themselves into song. Anyone who loves music should see it. It will renew your faith in the power of songs to stir your heart.”
This is a wonderful opportunity for Christians to enjoy a wonderfully blessed evening and to bring a non-Christian friend closer to the Kingdom of God.
All the sales of CDS and donations to the choir are turned over to HIV positive mothers and their children in South Africa.
The promise is for a rich blessing and a never-to-be-forgotten experience. Please don’t miss out.
